Andreas Kofler is an architect-urbanist, writer and curator. He has worked with offices such as Theo Deutinger, OMA/AMO founded by Rem Koolhaas, l’AUC and Dominique Perrault, among others. Many of his projects are rooted in a multidisciplinary practice, including work dedicated to metropolitan areas such as Greater Paris (DPA), Bordeaux 50 000 (l’AUC), collaborations for Prada (AMO), and the exhibition The Image of Europe (TD/AMO), developed for the European Union.
Among his curatorial projects are Japanese Architectures in Paris, 1867–2017 and the first exhibition dedicated to architect Armando Ronca, both accompanied by publications of the same name. Between 2018 and 2024, he served as curator and associate artistic director of the Swiss Architecture Museum (S AM), where he explored themes related to architecture, urbanism and society.
He is a regular contributor to L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui and an associate professor at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Versailles (ENSAV).
